Gregory V. Smith has more than 40 years of legal experience and currently focuses on handling real estate, estate planning and probate, and business associations.  Mr. Smith has been certified as a Real Property Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association, and has more than 40 years of experience handling real estate matters.  In addition to being an experienced litigator, he also possesses a wealth of experience in resolving disputes through mediation.  Mr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas and his Juris Doctor degree from the William Mitchell College of Law.  He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.  He is a member of the 18th Judicial District Ethics Committee and is a past president of the 18th District of the Minnesota State Bar.  Mr. Smith is actively involved in the local community and has been a member of the Volunteer Attorney Program for nearly four decades.

Gerald S. Paulson possesses nearly 25 years of legal experience and focuses his practice of criminal law and traffic violations defense, general litigation, and resolution through mediation. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Moorhead and his Juris Doctor degree from the University Of North Dakota School Of Law. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota and before the United States District Courts for the Districts of Minnesota and North Dakota. Before joining Smith, Paulson, O'Donnell & Associates, PLC, Mr. Paulson was a licensed Peace Officer and County Attorney in Minnesota. He is rostered as a neutral under Minnesota's court rules for Alternative Dispute Resolution.

 

 

Patrick M. O'Donnell

Patrick M. O'Donnell possesses more than 20 years of legal experience and currently focuses on civil litigation matters, including employment and labor law, business associations, and collections.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the William Mitchell College of Law.  Before attending law school, Mr. O'Donnell served as a Third-Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy.  He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Texas, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the Courts of Appeal for Fifth and Eighth Circuits.  In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. O'Donnell is passionate about community involvement.  He is a Board Member of Central Minnesota Legal Services, a former president and current STRIVE program student mentor for the Monticello Rotary Club, a former Treasurer of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce, and a former President of the Wright County Area United Way.

 

Meredith J. Boudrie

Meredith J. Boudrie joined Smith, Paulson, O'Donnell in July of 2009. Ms. Boudrie has been admitted to practice law in Minnesota since 2006 and has focused her practice primarily on family law matters. Ms. Boudrie received her BA from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Cum Laude, with a major in Criminology and minor in Psychology. She interned with the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, Victim and Witness Services Department, in 2003.

While in Law School, Ms. Boudrie received the Minnesota Justice Foundation Achievement in Public Service Award, the Cali Award of Excellence in Juvenile Justice, did clinical work with the Misdemeanor Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic, participated in the Legal Practicum and spent a year working for the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners Office.

After graduating from William Mitchell College of Law in 2006, Ms. Boudrie served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert D. Walker. At the same time she was also the Martin County Law Librarian and Secretary for the Martin County Children's Justice Initiative. Prior to joining the firm of Smith, Paulson, O'Donnell in July of 2009, Ms. Boudrie ran her own, independent family law practice.

Ms. Boudrie is volunteer attorney with the Central Minnesota Legal Services and Western Minnesota Legal Service Volunteer Attorney Program, and also volunteers at the Wright County Law Library legal advice clinic. In 2011 she received the "Wright Hand" award for her commitment to pro bono legal work in Wright County. Ms. Boudrie is also the current 18th Bar Association District Secretary and is an active member of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce.
